The Authority helped fund the Children's Discovery Museum's new "Bill's Backyard" project, which is a 27,500 square foot outdoor nature education center adjacent to the existing facility. This innovative space will inspire children and their families to spend time outside, exploring the wonders and joys of building, exploring, climbing, rolling, digging, and getting dirty.

San Tomas Community Garden Park

San Tomas Community Garden Park

The Authority contributed $425,000 toward the City of Santa Clara's project to create a new 3-acre neighborhood park located along the San Tomas Aquino Creek Trail, on the southwest corner of San Tomas Expressway and Monroe Avenue. The grant funded a community garden, open space, and picnic area. The park is currently under construction.
